I'm Nasam Hamarneh, a 21-year-old from Jordan, a nation that continues to delight me with its rich cultural heritage, beautiful landscapes, and kind people. Being surrounded by Jordan's historical treasures as a child, like Wadi Rum, Jerash, and Petra, has greatly inspired my creativity and stoked my love of design and storytelling. Jordan's seamless fusion of modernity and heritage inspires me and directs my art to be genuine and beautiful.

Over the past three years of studying visual design, I’ve come to understand that design is not merely about creating something beautiful; but it’s about structure, intent, and communication. Through academic projects and real-world assignments, I’ve been able to hone my critical thinking skills in typography, layout, color theory, and user experience, increasing my awareness of how even the smallest graphic decisions can shape how a message is received and understood.

Whether through branding, editorial design, digital interfaces, or campaign images, visual design has taught me how to translate abstract ideas into outcomes that are compelling, clear, and engaging. Since 2021, I have pursued summer internships with both small studios and larger companies, allowing me to apply my graphic design skills in practical, fast-paced environments. These experiences offered invaluable learning opportunities, not only through hands-on work but also by observing how experienced designers and strategists approach challenges, provide feedback, and develop creative solutions.

Each setting contributed uniquely to my growth, deepening my understanding of visual design as both a craft and a powerful communication tool. As a result the resulting portfolio reflects my strong focus on intentional design, thoughtful structure, and message clarity.
